BioBuild starts in the forest.  Planning and process schemes must be able to encompass both an end goal in the form of a plan, design, or specification which leads to a sustainable material approach.  A BioBuild is a comprehensive series of process, systems, and components that work together to maximize both material use, but is beneficial to the environment.  We must start to account for the latter which is the rationale of this submittal.  Further engineering details can be determined but a baseline accounting system will need to be established to further the cause of how bio build (ings) contribute to a sustainable and clean future for us and our environments.

Basis of Design For Cross Laminated Timber Construction

Establish performance metrics that include environmental metrics
Engineering Details include improvements to building shell through cross laminated veneer components using composite techniques and point load systems.
